Project Kick-Off: Food Charities
On the 24th of September, we had an official kick-off meeting of our Food ChariTIES project here at the Maastricht Sustainability Institute.
We started the meeting with a brief overview of our project by Filippo Oncini, principal investigator, for one of our new research assistants.
Alejandro Ciordia, the postdoctoral researcher on our team, gave a presentation on Events Sequence Analysis, which is the main method of research module 1.
Furthermore, Simona, Marga, and Shiori presented the progress they made on their first papers since starting their PhDs in September. The presentations led to a fruitful discussion on the approach of our project and our next steps.

Finally, to stay on food matters, we concluded the meeting with a nice team lunch.
